Some Tips to Keep Your Underarms Dry

If you suffer from excessive underarm sweat, you know how self-conscious it can make you feel when you are trying to impress. Worrying about whether or not your shirt is wet can ruin your concentration on a first date or in an interview. Here are a few tips to help you prevent underarm wetness.

It all starts in the shower. Use a deodorant soap. Don't worry about a moisturizing soap for this area.

While you are in the shower, get rid of most of your underarm hair. Some men may not want to get rid of all of their underarm hair, but if you do, it will make a big difference. Hair holds the moisture and helps to accumulate enough wetness to make your shirt wet. If you just can't bring yourself to shave it all, get rid of most of it.

When you leave the shower, dry completely. Then, use a clinical-strength deodorant. This is the strongest deodorant you can get over the counter. It is made just for people who suffer from excessive sweating. One brand to try is Gillette Clinical Strength. Apply a few times a day and notice a big difference.

Wear clothes that breathe. Now is not the time for heavy or thick clothes. You want to be sure the air can circulate around your body.
